Ghost of Yotei is the next adventure in the Sucker Punch’s Ghost series.
Here is a synopsis from Wikipedia:
“Ghost of Yōtei centers around the theme of “underdog vengeance.”. The story is set in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1603, 329 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. Players will take control of Atsu (Erika Ishii), a female warrior who adopts the persona of “The Ghost” at the dawn of the Edo period. [2][3]Developers have claimed that players will have more control over Atsu’s narrative and choices compared to Ghost of Tsushima.”
Ghost of Tsushima was a monster hit, selling over 13 million copies! While most gamers thought Sucker Punch was going to release a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, creating another game within the series greatly expands their IP and allows many stories to be told, historical and fictitiously historical.
When Ghost of Yotei releases, hopefully history will repeat itself.
